Formed in 2022 by Bernard Dunaux and Chris Kaye, LA based band, The Orange Clouds have quickly become a fixture in the alternative pop scene. Their latest single "Strange Life," released on July 20th, 2024, is a testament to their evolving sound that blends solid house beats, memorable melodies, and psychedelic influences. The tones are rich, they're nostalgic, delayed and reverbed vocally and close and personal through guitar tones. It reminds me of a mix of R.E.M and the earlier works of Coldplay in the way that dream pop meets classical rock. It's a hit with me for sure.
