Shawn Arnold and Brian Tiller's musical journeys began decades ago. Shawn played, recorded, and toured with various bands through the height of the college radio format days in the mid-80s. He's got the cassette demos, show flyers, and emotional scars to prove it. Brian Tiller was influenced by the early 90s grunge and alt-music scene before beginning to play in local Southern California bands. Life took Shawn and Brian away from the professional music path and they both thought their musical journeys were now resigned to their home studios. Ken Napzok started his career in morning rock radio in the mid-90s and has been a comedian, podcaster, and author in Los Angeles since 1998 - but he always dreamed about songwriting.

In 2022, Ken dared Brian to send him some music so they could write a song together. Their first collaboration "Tell Me, Tell Me" needed some bass, so they recruited Shawn Arnold into the project. And with that, The Moonagers began - proving it's never too late to rock...
